Rescoot Mobility was founded by Traci Wright after her husband Mark became disabled due to chronic illness. They purchased a very expensive, brand-new mobility scooter for Mark with their own money because Medicare didn’t cover it, and it broke just a few weeks later. They ended up finding a used one for a fraction of the cost that just needed a good cleaning and a new set of batteries, and the idea was born.
